Philly Start Up Leaders at the South by Southwest Conference (SXSW) in Austin Texas in March 2018.

This year Penn will again be supporting Philadelphia’s efforts to feature our City as an exciting hub for start-ups and innovation through Philly Start Up Leaders (PSL) at the South by Southwest Conference (SXSW) in Austin Texas in March 2018.

We will be promoting Penn’s emerging technology, start-up and innovation infrastructure through our sponsorship which will include a dedicated booth at the Interactive Trade Show and presence including dedicated space in the Amplify Philly ‘house’ which will be promoting Philadelphia and its startups through special programming and events. In addition, we are working with the Penn/Wharton Austin Alumni Group to organize a special event and networking reception (as we did last year) where companies joining us from Penn can meet many Austin based alumni who are Venture Capitalists, Startup CEOs or potential corporate partners. We would love to have you engage with us on this important initiative and hope you will consider one or all of the following:

--Join us in Austin: We would love to feature your startup or technology at our booth and in the Amplify Philly house. If you join us you can use our space to market your startup, technology or program as part of our overall effort. Also, in addition to the tradeshow there are many educational sessions and networking opportunities that could be valuable to you. If you can attend, we will be scheduling meet and greets with Penn affiliated attendees at our booth and marketing these opportunities in advance of the show, so let us know if you are interested.

--Marketing: We will be putting together materials to market Penn technologies and startups to attendees at SXSW. Let us know if we can feature your company or technologies in our materials.

--Idea and Technology Demos: We’d love to feature some cutting edge technologies that could be demonstrated at the booth. Please let us know if you have a prototype, poster, video or giveaway that we can showcase at the booth to help market your invention or company if you can’t join us personally.
